Let's play spot the baby!
Can you find Baby P? Ok, this one is a lot easier to see than our very first ultrasound... but it's still fun. This was taken at 12 weeks, but I'm officially 16 weeks now.I had my first unofficial Mama's Day this past Sunday. It was crazy to get so many presents/calls/texts! KP bought some awesome flowers and signed them from 'Fetus P.'
Here's what the card said:
"You are already a great mommy. If my arms were fully developed I would hug you."
Love,
Fetus P
Do you think the baby knows how crazy its dad is? I dunno...
Yet another nice present-- I even felt Fetus P move while I was holding my belly at Brian and Ashley's wedding on Mama's Day too!

PAINT
Paint. One syllable. Sounds simple enough. But it is anything but simple. IT IS HARD WORK PICKING OUT PAINT! I'm exhausted. Thank goodness for mom and grandma coming down to help out.
KP, stop making fun of the blog. You like it.

Waiting no more! We are homeowners.
After about total eight months of searching for 'the' place, and two months on this particular house... and we got the AWESOME congratulations call from our AWESOME realtors that we are officially homeowners. Rancho Bernardo here we come!
The funniest part? They called me first to tell me ('ladies first' they said). Then I got to call and tell KP. Here he does all the work -- the countless phone calls and trips to the place; the signing and reviewing of multiple documents; the back and forth with all folks... and I get the final call. Poor guy! He even pointed out tonight that I got to do the best parts -- picked the place initially, then tell him we officially own it!
But I have to give kudos to my hubby for doing such an amazing job in making this happen. That was our 'deal' -- I planned the wedding and he got to handle the real estate. I was so proud of him throughout the whole thing. He was super detailed with everything and had the answer everytime I had questions.
Mission accomplished babe! CHECK.

Waiting...
Alrighty -- we should be closing on the house this week now... finally! Only a few weeks behind. At least it wasn't our problem, and hey, we got a better interest rate out of the wait (woohoo).
Then the real fun begins... painting, furniture, decorating... EEEEK!

My Wifey
I just wanted to let my wife know how much I love her. I know we haven't seen each other much lately, but I am so excited for everything we have in our IMMEDIATE future I can't even explain it. Keep working hard and making me proud... I will do the same.
